1923 – Early in the year the business becomes incorporated, Robert Wynn and Son Limited, with Robert and his wife 50/50 shareholders.

November 1923 – Robert dies leaving his shareholding between the 3 eldest sons.

Percy Wynn (formally apprenticed to Fowlers of Leeds) joins the company.

During 1920’s most of the traction engines are phased out, replaced by Foden & Sentinel steam wagons.

1930 – Road Traffic Act introduced with a gross weight limit of 24 tons, this made the Foden & Sentinel steam wagons not profitable. These were replaced by 6 & 8 wheel Scammells.

Post war in Wynns workshops, the first 120 ton trailer was constructed.
